Since July 2006, the exhibition program in the pavilion located in courtyard III of the Hackesche Höfe has continued under new direction.
With determination in her search for allies and like-minded individuals, Isolde Nagel, architect and curator, directs the new program, designed for those who value artistic-architectonic visions and attentiveness to social questions.
The 2006 program, under the title 'A transparenc(it)y' and the 2007 program, under the title ‘A synchroni-city’will be continued in 2008 under the title ’An intimac(it)y’ and transcends individual disciplines to present innovative strategies for and interventions into urban space and perception of urban space.
The pavilion provides a forum for international artists, architects, landscape architects, designers and scientists. It is both an art space and exhibition venue as well as a think tank for investigating cultural paradigms, contemporary lifestyles, and new experimental tendencies as related to urban practices and identities.
